Fuel Tank, GRP, VFR750 R36-2, RC30 Style, Unpainted This RC30 replica fuel tank has been carefully designed by TYGA Performance to be installed on an RC36-2 VFR750F so that it fits perfectly with the space available on the underside of the tank, while appearing to be an RC30 fuel tank from the outside. The modifications are extensive to retain the correct stance of the RC30 while allowing for at least 18 litres of fuel. Laminated with a Kevlar layer for abrasion and puncture resistance, this fuel tank is both strong and light. The tank is designed to be used with the rest of our RC36-2 kit and should be installed using the front and rear tank mounts supplied in the kit. Through the use of high quality CNC machined aluminium inserts, all the original associated hardware can be easily installed, namely the RC36 or RC30 fuel tank filler cap, an RC30 style breather and the RC36 fuel petcock all mount exactly the same way as they do with Honda fuel tanks. We recommend installing the associated fuel hose and other components to make the job easier which also has the added benefit of a reserve position on the fuel cock lever which is perfectly positioned through the seat cowling window, just like the real RC30! Note that the TYGA fuel tank for the RC36-2 does not have provisions for fitting the original fuel level sensor, but thanks to our fuel pet cock design, it is no longer necessary. Using specially formulated epoxy resin for fuel resistance, this tank has been tested with a range of fuels from 95 unleaded pump fuel to E20 (20% ethanol).
