Description ABOUT THE BOOK In the current scenario, Entrepreneurship is the key to the economic development of a country. Entrepreneurial development is essential for industrialization, generating employment and poverty alleviation. Entrepreneurship is a strategy and can be developed through planned efforts. The book is targeted at under – graduate students of AGRICULTURE and allied branches and reflects my understanding of the requirements of students. Somani (b. 1945) Retired Director (Rl) & Dean PG Studies, MPUAT Udaipur has many papers published in National and International Journals/ Symposia, etc. and many number of books to his credit in different disciplines of Agriculture and allied fields. He held different positions in MPUAT, has spreaded highly innovative ideas, and programmes for development of Agriculture. Prof. Somani has been honoured with several awards. Dr. Balbir Singh Khadda obtained his B. Sc Ag. (Hons) from SKRAU, Bikaner, M.Sc. (Ag.) Animal Husbandry from MPUA&T, Udaipur and Ph.D. (Livestock Production Management) from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Presently he is working as Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Husbandry) at ICAR – Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Panchmahal, Godhra, Gujarat. He has been exclusively working on different aspect of animal Husbandry for the last 19 years. He worked in 11 externally funded research projects. The remarkable and notable contributions in the form of publication are 84 research article in National and International Journal of repute, 69 paper presented in seminar/ symposia, 31 popular articles, 12 bulletins, 12 extension folders, 9 book chapters, 5 training manuals 2 books and 2 compendiums. He has been recipients of many awards, recognitions and fellowship including work appreciation award – 2018 given by Gujarat State Administration, Best Ph.D. Thesis award, AIASA-Fellowship award, Young Scientist Award-2014 and 2016, Distinguished Scientist Award-2016, Scientist of the Year Award-2017, Krishi Vigyan Goarav Award-2017, Best KVK Scientist Award-2020, Harit Puraskar-2020, etc. He is sitting member to many professional societies and organized 3 National seminars and 2 International seminars. He has also delivered 21 Radio-talks on important/ burning topics of the agriculture and animal husbandry at AIR, Godhra. Mr. Rajveer S/o Choudhary Indersain Mali and mother Mrs. Dropati Devi was born in 1993 at village Bagicha, District- Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan). He obtained his B. Sc Ag. (Hons) from SKRAU, Bikaner and M.Sc. (Ag.) Soil Science from SHUATS, Allahabad. Currently he is serving at Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner as Subject Matter Specialist (Soil Science). He has been exclusively working on different aspect of soil science for the last 5 years. He published many research papers in national and international journals, Seminar/ Symposia and popular articles in national level magazines. He has been recipients of many awards and recognitions including Student of the year Award-2013, Young Scientist Award-2016, Scientist of the year award-2017, Harit Purshkar-2018, etc., He is sitting member to many professional societies and organized 2 National seminars.
